A dialogue and barks sheet for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds dialogue system, written for the characters Tangle and Whisper. The dialogue sheet also inclued notes on character voice for the entire SR:C voiced roster.

This project was a challenge to not only write in-game barks, but also write for IP and using established character voice. Tangle and Whisper aren't proper game characters, only existing in the comics and in the recent Chaotix Casefiles audio drama. I scrutinized their comic appearances and their lines in the audio drama to get a good understanding of their voice and personalities.
From there, I thought about the dynamics they might have with other characters based on their histories and how their personalities might interact. Tangle and Sonic are both very energetic, so their dialogue has them rev each other up. Whisper was more of a challenge, because in canon she doesn't talk much. Her lines are very short in comparison to the rest of the cast, so I tried to make each line hit as much as possible.
I paid close attention to the length of the lines. Did it make sense for these lines to play in the short interval before a race, and as barks during gameplay?
